My Top Go-To Nude Lipsticks For Every Occasion

As you might be able to tell from the title of today’s blog post I’ll be sharing my go-to nude lipsticks with you today. Now this isn’t supposed to be a favorites posts because my lipstick collection is gigantic, so I have tons of favorites, especially neutral lipsticks. Today’s post is about the lipsticks I truly reach for the most. The lipsticks I put on when I’m in a rush or when  I need it to stay looking good all day. These lipsticks are the ones I trust the most. They have never disappointed me so far and I wear them whenever I want to play it safe. But before I ramble on even more let’s get straight into the post.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks In Pure Hollywood & Crush

I currently own four ABH liquid lipsticks. Two I’m obsessed with and two I despise (not even exaggerating, I swear). But today let’s focus on the ones I do love and reach for all the time. Pure Hollywood is a classic nude beige lipstick shade and it’s literally perfect for any occasion and it will work with just about any makeup look, which is definitely a plus in my books. It has full opaque coverage, minimal to no transfer and is very long-lasting. What more could you wish for? In fact, Pure Hollywood is the only lipstick I’ve ever had to repurchase because I finished it. I have an unnecessary way too excessive amount of lipsticks, so I usually never finish one. Hence the fact that I repurchased Pure Hollywood is saying a lot.

All of the just mentioned benefits about Pure Hollywood also apply to the shade Crush. Crush is a beautiful beige, slightly dusty rose kind of color if you know what I mean. Well, even if you don’t it’s a beautiful shade and one I reach for when I want a neutral lipstick, that still has a hint of color to it. I’ve owned both of these for about a year now and still wear them all the time. They’re especially great for work because I know they will stay looking perfect throughout my 9 hour work day without me having to touch up.

Too Faced Melted Matte in Child Star

Child Star is another one of those lipsticks I wear to work all the time because it’s not drying, lasts forever and stays looking pretty on my lips throughout my entire work day. Child Star is also one of those classic beige nudes but it is a little lighter than Pure Hollywood. This shade also goes with literally any outfit or any makeup look. It’s such a low maintenance lipstick it’s just perfect for whenever you’re in a rush or on the go or just can’t decide what lipstick you feel like wearing that day, because you certainly can’t go wrong with this one.

Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme in Sonic Truth

In the past one to two years liquid lipsticks have taken over my life and I rarely buy a basic regular old-fashioned lipstick anymore. But from time to time I do still fall in love with one and this was the case with this beauty by Marc Jacobs. First off the sleek packaging is stunning! I love carrying this around in my bag because it’s pretty and who doesn’t like pretty things, especially when they come in the form of a lipstick? Sonic Truth is another one of those nude lipsticks that has a slight dusty rose tint to it, which I personally really like because sometimes you want to go neutral but not necessarily super beige. Sonic Truth is relatively matte but not completely. It has a nice creamy formula, which feels very hydrating and lightweight on the lips. Out of all the lipsticks mentioned in this post this one has the shortest staying power but it still is quite long-lasting. I usually re-apply this within my lunch break and then I’m good to go for another five hours.

(Swatches from left to right: Crush, Pure Hollywood, Child Star, Sonic Truth)

Of course here I have some swatches for you, which already completes today’s blog post. I genuinely love all four of these lipsticks and have worn them so many times I’ll probably have to repurchase all of them soon. If I had to choose a favorite I couldn’t because they all have a special place in my heart.

I hope you enjoyed this post and thank you for reading!

What are you go-to nude lipsticks or lipsticks in general?

March Favorites

We’re only a little over one week into April, so I think it’s still totally acceptable to be writing about my March favorites, right? Besides I haven’t written a favorites post in forever although they are some of my favorite type of posts to read because I’m just nosey and I love to see which products other people are loving and if I need to add them to my wish list. Now a lot of my March favorites I’ve already written a review about but these are just the products I’ve been using and loving the most throughout March, so it’s only right to include them.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation

I’ve already written an in-depth review of this foundation but I’ve now been using it every day for around 6 weeks and I’m still in love. Honestly, I feel like this foundation is exactly perfect for my skin the way it is right now. It really makes my complexion look flawless and feels so light weight even when I wear it all day.

Tartelette in Bloom Palette

I don’t even think I need to explain why this palette has been one of my absolute favorites in March. Just look at it! The color selection is absolutely stunning! And luckily the quality of the shadows is as amazing as they look. Each shade is so nicely pigmented and blends like a dream. What more could I wish for?

Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Pure Hollywood

This is another product I’ve written a full review on but I would be lying if I didn’t include it in this post because I have been reaching for this so often ever since I got it to be honest. To me this is the most perfect neutral shade, so whenever I can’t decide on a lipstick this is the one I reach for. It’s not too peachy, it’s not too brown or too pink. It’s not too dark and it’s not too light. It’s just perfectly neutral.

Urban Decay Naked Palette

I know this palette has been out for years but I only just got it last Christmas. I kind of went backwards and first bought the Naked 3, then the 2, the On the Run, the Smoky and then finally completed my collection with the Original Naked palette. If I’m being perfectly honest I kind of mostly wanted this just so I have all three (cause I’m an obsessive makeup hoarder) but I’m really loving this palette even though I might’ve wanted it for the wrong reasons in the first place. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s my newest Naked palette but it’s the one I reach for the most out of all three right now.

Gerard Cosmetic Liquid Lipsticks in Iced Mocca and Cher

Liquid lipsticks are so hyped up everywhere and I’d been wanting to try the ones by Gerard Cosmetics for quite some time so obviously I ended up ordering two. First off Iced Mocca I absolutely adore because it’s such a unique and different color. I find it hard to describe but it’s kind of a greyish brown taupe maybe? Cher to me is a perfect mauve color and I sure do love my mauves. The lasting power and pigmentation is great and the they’re not too drying. Chances are quite high I’ll be going back to order some more shades in the near future.

Tom Ford Velvet Orchid

Today’s last favorite is actually a perfume and oh my god am I obsessed with it. This is one of the best scents in the entire world to me and I can’t get enough of it. It’s definitely more of an oriental fragrance but then it’s also kind of spicy and has some floral hints to it. Basically I’m just as awful at describing scents as I am at describing colors but this is currently my absolute favorite perfume and every single time I wear this out somewhere at least one person seems to ask me what perfume I’m wearing.

And this already concludes my March favorites. I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post. What are some of your current favorites?

Much love,

June Favorites

Hey lovelies,

how are you? I hope you’re all enjoying the amazing weather right now! Since today’s the last day of June I figured it’s time for my June favorites posts. Besides I think I haven’t done a favorites post in a while because I honestly don’t even remember when I wrote the last one, so here we go.

Mac Studio Fix Powder

I think I’ve made it more than clear that Mac Mineralize Skinfinish is pretty much my holy grail powder and the one I’ve been using ever since I was 14. However, I love Mac’s Studio Fix powder as well and I usually switch up between the two. This month I’ve been using Studio Fix every single day though. I just love how nicely it sets my foundation and concealer and it just gives that little bit of extra coverage.

Mac Mineralize in Gentle

I got this blush a little while ago and I’ve actually written a full review on it but it’s been one of my favorites and most used blushes this month. It’s just such a gorgeous shimmery pink. Perfect for an every day look.

Mac Twig Lipstick and Kiko Lipstick in 611

I got this Kiko lipstick a while ago and then a few weeks back I bought Twig and after using them both a lot I’ve realized how similar they actually are. Now it’s not an exact dupe but they are definitely very close in color. Only Twig is a bit lighter on the lips and has more of a pink undertone while the Kiko lipstick is a bit darker and more brown based. But I’ve included a swatch for you. Twig is the one on the right and the Kiko Lipstick is the one on the left. Now I don’t know the complete name of the Kiko lipstick because it says it nowhere on the packaging but I do know it’s number 611 and the packaging is one that definitely stands out, so it should be easy to find.

MaxFactor Blush in Alluring Rose

I just wrote a blog post about the MaxFactor powder blushes recently but Alluring Rose has been my favorite by far, so I just had to include in this post. I’ve been using it nearly every day because I like it so much. It just really warms up my complexion and adds this really nice glow to my cheeks. It’s just perfect for the summer.

Maybelline The Great Lash

This is just one of my absolute favorite mascaras and the one I’ve been using the most lately. It adds length and volume and it’s just a really nice mascara.

Victoria’s Secret Body Mist White Cotton & Pink Lily

I really like the Victioria’s Secret body mists. They’re great for days when you still wanna smell good but don’t feel like putting on a heavy perfume. This one looks so cute. I love the soft pink packaging but of course it also smells amazing! Now I suck at describing scents but this one is very light and fresh, which I very much prefer over sweet scents.

St. Moriz Self-Tanning Mousse

Since it’s finally sumer and I’m basically as white as a wall I’ve been self-tanning a lot this month. I love the St. Moriz one because it’s really cheap but still does the job. First I was scared it might turn me orange but it gives me a really nice and natural looking tan.

Yankee Candles

I used to not really get the obsession with scented candles. I’ve never really liked candles because I think they’re cheesy and I’m scared of fire. But then I was given a scented candle and I’ve realised that they can be quite relaxing and I love how they make my room smell. So early this month I went to my nearest Yankee Candle store and bought a whole bunch. My two most burned candles this month have been Sweet Apple and Midsummer’s Night. Sweet Apple is more of a sweet scent (obviously) but it’s not too overly sweet. It pretty much smells like one of those sugar coated apples you can get at a fair. I just think it’ s so nice for the summer. Midsummer’s Night is probably not for everyone because it has quite the masculine scent to it but it’s very fresh and I love the color.

So these are my June favorites! What have you been loving this month?

Much love,

March Favorites

So it’s already the 4th of April and I’m slightly late but I’ve finally come around to blog my March favorites! Yay! Throughout the month of March I’ve actually used a lot of old favorites, that I’ve loved for a while but I believe they’re alway worth a mention again. I seriously can’t believe it’s April already! I just finished my midterms, so I now only have 7 weeks of my 4th semester left. What even?! Anyway.. I should probably get to the products now!

So first off I’ve been using my Naked 3 palette so much all throughout March! I’ve had this one for nearly a year now and I think it’s one of my most used and loved palettes by far. For my birthday I finally received the Naked 2, which I’m LOVING at the moment.

Nars Contour Blush

This is another product I’ve had for nearly a year now. When I first got it I used it like crazy and was totally obsessed with it but then I continued to purchase so many contour products I kind of forgot about this one. Now I’ve finally taken it out off the back of my make up drawer again and I’ve used it almost every time I did some basic contouring.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Nudist

After trying one of these in the shade Grand Crux I really disliked these and didn’t get the hype but after some more google research it was apparently just the one color I bought. So I decided to give them another chance and I bought the shade Nudist. Now I’m hooked. I hate the smell of these but the color I now have is gorgeous, I really like the formular and I love the finish.

YSL Rouge Volupte in no.32 Corail Jalouse

Okay, so I love YSL lipsticks. Apart from maybe Tom Ford or Chanel they are one of the prettiest lipsticks out there and they feel so luxurious. Every time I pull one of these out and apply it on my lips I feel like an actual princess. Because this is such a beauty and it’s so expensive I rarely use it because I don’t want to waste it, which is quite stupid if you think about it because I did spend quite some money on this. In March I’ve finally worn this again more and it’s probably one of my favorite Spring lipsticks.

L’Oreal Brow Artist Shaper

I have a bit of a love hate relationships with my brows. Doing my make up is one of my favorite things but I hate doing my brows because I’m never happy with the outcome. However, thanks to L’Oreal’s Brow Artist Shaper I think I’ve gotten better at doing my brows. I got mine in the shade blonde, which matches my eyebrows quite well. Basically, I’ve been using this every day lately.

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara

This actually came with the Urban Decay Naked On The Run Palette. I’ve been loving this mascara because it really lengthens my lashes and I’m thinking on buying the full size one once I run out of this.

And that concludes my March favorites! What have you been loving this month?

Thanks for reading and I wish you all a great Easter weekend!

Much love,

My Top 3 Pink High End Blushes

Despite winter not really wanting to go away just yet as it’s still cold and rainy and I’ve barely seen the sun lately, I still have my hopes up that Spring is on its way. During the last two weeks we’ve had a few beautiful sunny days and even though they have been rare that hopefully will change soon. I love winter but I’ve well and truly had enough of the cold and I can wait for the days to get warmer. During the winter months I prefer more berry toned and darker blushes in general but once Spring rolls around I can’t wait to get out my pinks and peaches. Since according to the calendar Spring has officially began (even though I haven’t seen much of it yet) I thought I’d share my current top 3 pink blushes with you to get us in the mood for Spring.

Guerlain Rose Aux Joues 02 Chic Pink

I got to add this lovely blush to my collection thanks to my grandmother who gave it to me for my birthday last year. First off it just has the most prettiest perfect packaging ever. It’s so gold and shiny I don’t even want to touch it. I’ve written a full review post on it last Spring but it’s still one of my favorites and most used pink blushes so I just have to mention it again. The blush is a duo that comes with two stunning shades, one being a very light soft pink and the other one being more of a dark pink. Both look stunning on their own even though the light one is not as pigmented and only adds a touch of rosy shimmer to your cheeks. However you can also mix both of them together or apply the dark one first and just add a bit of the lighter color as a highlight. Either way this blush is one of my Spring favorites because it just reminds me of flowers and sunshine for some reason.

Mac Well Dressed

I feel like I keep mentioning this on my blog a lot but it’s pretty much my favorite blush. I don’t want to say it’s my absolute favorite because considering the amount of blushes I own that’s quite a bold statement but it’s a blush I’ve had for ages and I still love it just as much as when I first got it and I use it all the time. Basically it’s just a staple in my make up bag. To me this is the most perfect every day soft pink. I tend to wear this all year round however I use it mostly over the Spring and Summer months. It’s really nicely pigmented and blends so perfectly.

Nars Orgasm

Now Nars Orgasm is a blush everyone seems to know and love. It’s very hyped up in the beauty world and I definitely see why. It’s more of a peachy golden pink but it’s just the most gorgeous color that suits so many complexions so well. With this blush a little really goes along way as it is just so pigmented. But luckily it blends really well. I love how this is the perfect amount of shimmery and it just adds the most perfect peachy pink golden glow to your cheeks and really lights up your complexion.

As always I have some swatches for you but since the lighting is still pretty crappy because of the bad weather and I used my phone, they really don’t do them any justice. But at least I tried and you get a bit of an idea of what they look like, right?

(Swatches from left to right: Guerlain, Mac, Nars)

So these are my top 3 pink high end blushes which I will be using a ton in the upcoming months. I’ve had all of these for at least a year  and still adore them but then again I always love going back to old favorites.

What are your favorite pink blushes? Any recommendations?

Have a lovely Sunday!

Much love,

February Favorites

Hey lovelies,

how are you all doing? It’s been over a week since my last post! I really need to get my blogging game back on because I know my little blog has been lacking posts quite a lot lately but I promise I’m getting back to it because I’ve missed blogging but I’ve just been pretty busy and I have to admit I’ve  been feeling a little uninspired lately. Nonetheless my views didn’t go down, so thank you so much for continuing to read even though my posts have been pretty sparsely lately! Since it’s been a while since I posted something I thought I’d start with something safe again so here are my February favorites. Can you guys believe it’s March already? I’m turning 20 this month. What?! Anyway… here’s what I’ve been loving this month.

Urban Decay Naked On The Run Palette

I’ve mentioned this palette in a haul post in January after caving in and buying it even though I spent a month trying to convince myself that I wasn’t going to need it. But then my Instagram feed was full of this palette and it’s like I couldn’t escape it. When I passed an important exam I decided to treat myself and finally buy it. I can’t tell you how glad I am I did. I love all the eyeshadows that come with it, the eyeliner is a lovely color, I’m obsessed with the lip gloss and you can’t ever have enough mascaras, right? The only thing I don’t use too much is the bronzer as it’s too orangey for my pale complexion. Other than that I’m head over heels for this palette. It’s so perfect for traveling because it basically includes everything you need and it looks so pretty too!

Makeup Revolution I Heart Make Up I Heart Definiton Fair

Woah well that’s a long name right there. So contouring is big right now. The amount of posts I see all the time about what products are the best to use and what’s the best technique to use are immense and I’ve written about it myself a few times. Now I don’t do no crazy contouring but I do like to add a bit of definition to my face and I love trying out all the different kits that are constantly coming out. This one is super affordable and you get a great bronzer to create shadows, a lovely blush and a nice highlighter with it. It’s very compact and travel friendly. I can definitely recommend it for starters.

Makeup Revolution Goddess Of Love Highlighter

Okay, how freaking pretty is this? It’s just so so so beautiful to look at and on top of that it’s a great product that’s super affordable. This highlighter is a pinky champagne like color and I think it’s absolutely stunning. I’ve been loving this all throughout the month of February

Jo Malone Blackberry Bay

This is my first ever Jo Malone fragrance and it smells so heavenly divine! I’ve been using this almost every day in February and I think I might have to get another Jo Malone fragrance soon. Let me know if you have any recommendations!

Blake Lively’s Pure Red from L’Oreal

After writing a raving review about this I just need to include it in my monthly favorites because it wouldn’t be fair otherwise. I haven’t been this excited about a lipstick in a while, especially not a drugstore one so this well and truly deserves a mention in this post. It’s one of the prettiest red lipsticks I’ve come a crossed lately. It’s last so long, it’s so pigmented and it compliments my complexion so nicely. If you’re rather pale with blonde or relatively light hair get this! Seriously go and buy it!

And this already concludes my favorites. What have you guys been loving throughout February? Make sure to let me know!

Thanks so much for reading!

January Favorites

It’s been a little while since I uploaded a monthly favorites post because for some reason I seem to have skipped out on the month of December. I guess with Christmas and New Years I must’ve forgotten about it. However, favorites posts are one of my personal favorite type of posts to read as  I always love to read what others have been enjoying and it gives me some ideas on products I might want to check out in the future. So here goes my January favorites.

The Body Shop Warming Mineral Mask

I’ve written an entire blog post about this mask and raved on and on about how much I love it. It feels absolutely incredible on my skin and I can honestly say that it’s improved my skin by clearing it up more and just making it look all glowy and healthy and who doesn’t like that, right? It still amazes me how this mask manages to warm up once it touches your face but then again it just feels amazing so why care.

Victoria’s Secret Body Mist White Cotton & Pink Lilly

I love the VS body sprays, so when a very good friend of mine gave me another one to add to my collection for Christmas I was one happy girl. This smells so nice I’ve been using this a lot this month whenever I just didn’t want to use an actual perfume.

Make Up Revolution Matte Essentials Palette

This has been my go to palette of the month, so obviously I have to mentioned it.  It contains a perfect and really nicely pigmented range of different mattes. Basically all the mattes you could ever need! I’ve used this almost daily to create a neutral every day look and I’m genuinely blown away by this palette. It’s just so good.

NYX Powder Blush in Taupe

Another product that I’ve been using pretty much every day of this month. It’s by far my favorite product to contour with and it definitely lives up to the hype for me. If you’re pale and are looking for a nice blush/bronzer to contour with gives this one a go.

Milani Blush in Corallista

This is the one blush I reached for the most this month. It’s such a nice coral shade with a gorgeous golden shimmer. The packaging is pretty and the products itself it just a total stunner and not just in the pan! I just got two more Milani blushes and I can’t wait to try them out properly!

Mac Soft & Gentle Highlighter

I know I’ve mentioned this on my blog quite a few times now but this is hands down my favorite highlighter. I’ve been using this every single day in the month of Januaray (I gotta admit I have a bit of an obsession with highlighting atm) so I just have to mention it once again. It’s perfect and totally worth the money!

Tom Ford in Indian Rose

I’ve been dying to get my hands onto one of the Tom Ford lippies and my dream finally came true in December when I went out and bought one with my Christmas money. To be honest, I have no regrets! It’s the prettiest lipstick I own and I can’t get enough of it! It’s such a wearable mauve/dusty pink type of nude and fits every occasion.

What have bee your favorites this month? Any recommendations for what to try next month?

Friday Favorites

Thank God it’s Friday, right? This week hasn’t been as crazy as my last week, but I’m always glad when it’s the weekend. So since it’s Friday I wanted to share two products with you, that I’ve discovered this week. Both products are Essence and I absolutely adore them. I don’t know why but lately I’ve been loving Essence as a brand. Their products are so incredibly affordable but still surprisingly good quality!

Actually I went in my local drugstore to have a look at the cream blushes that are included in their newest winter limited edition but they didn’t have them there. The makeup obsessed girl I am I couldn’t leave with nothing though, so I ended up with a little palette and a lip gloss.

All About Nude in 01 Nude

I have to admit when I spotted this little beauty the first thing that came to my mind was, that it didn’t really look like your typical nude palette, yet the name is all about nude. This palette doesn’t contain any beige, light brown or basically none of your typical nude shades that you would expect to be in a nude eyeshadow palette. It does contain a really light shimmery highlighting shade, two light pinks, a light greyish silver shade, a dark brown and a plum shade. All the shades are gorgeous and allow you to create a lovely neutral look. I really like the light pink shades in combination with the plum and silver greyish shade.

These eyeshadows don’t have the best pigmentation but they are pigmented quite well and I love how shimmery they are. I just think this is a perfect little palette for the holiday season and it’s definitely quite refreshing compared to your typical nude palettes.

XXXL Longlasting Lipgloss in 06 Soft Nude

I’ve included a lip gloss from the same range but in the shade 05 Velvet Rose in a favorites post earlier this month ad now I’ve finally bought the nude one, which I’ve been wanting to try ever since I tried the Velvet Rose. I love the formula of these lip glosses. They are not sticky at all and feel so moisturizing. But the best thing by far is that they have a matte effect. Basically they are more like a lip cream stain. The lasting power could be a little bit longer but you can’t really complain for the price. The shade is a gorgeous nude which is more not he darker side. I love how it adds a bit of volume to my lips and I’m definitely glad I bought it in this color as well. Who knows? I might add the peach and the red one to my little collection as well.

Have you discovered anything you really liked this week?

In A Rush Favorites

I don’t know about you but time management isn’t one of my strengths. If I really have to I’m usually on time but not without being in a total rush. Especially when it comes to early morning lectures! I’m just not really a morning person. I really like my bed. Actually I love my bed and I hate having to leave it, especially on cold and early mornings. Hence I’ve found myself being in a total rush millions of times.

Now I’m also the kind of person, who rather skips breakfast to get a few more minutes of sleep but I still want to look presentable, so here are my favorite products to use when I’m in a rush.

Usually I start off with my base (slapping on concealer and foundation and setting everything with powder) but everyone has different favorite products here, which is why I’m going to skip that or this post.

Eye Make Up

So I’m in a total rush, so now I have to decide eyeshadow or eyeliner? I’m definitely an eyeliner kind of girl. In fact me without eyeliner on is a very rare sight! Very very rear! So obviously I’m going for the eyeliner and my go to one for weeks now has been the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencil in Demolition. Yes, I’ve mentioned this a lot already but it’s one of my favorite make up items at the moment. I love the dark brown shade and it’s just so creamy and easy to apply and it lasts like a dream.

Next up is mascara. I just can’t leave the house without mascara because my eyelashes are blonde, so if I don’t wear mascara it looks like I have no lashes. One of my favorite drugstore mascaras is the Essence I love Extreme Mascara. This one is so affordable and so impressive! There’s a pink and a black edition and I have no idea what the difference is, to be honest, but I like the design of the black one better, which is why I always purchase that one. Maybe I should find out what the real difference is.

No time for contouring so all I’m doing is whirling my brush around in my Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick. This one’s a limited edition and includes a  beautiful bronzed shade, a rose gold, a gold and a silver beige kind of shade. Basically it creates a beautiful mixture of those colors and provides your skin with a lovely subtle glow. In a way it functions as a blush and highlighter in one.

This is a definitely an optional step and nothing I do each time. Sometimes I don’t really feel like putting anything on my lips except for maybe a lip balm but when I do, I’m really liking the Essence XXL Longlasting Lipgloss at the moment. The reason why I love this so much is because comes with a matt effect and it’s the only lip gloss I’ve ever tried that’s not sticky at all. I have this in the shade 05 Velvet Rose, which is a lovely neutral pink. I’m a lip product junkie, which is why I tend to reach for a different lip product a lot but this one I’m totally loving at the moment and I think I might add a few more to the collection.

Basically this is my go to make up look whenever I’m in a rush and though I switch up the products these are the ones I definitely reach for the most.

What are your go to in a rush favorites?

Thanks for reading!

October Favorites

First of all HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! I hope all of you have an amazing day!

But Halloween is always the last day of October, which means it’s also time for my October beauty favorites. I know I’m saying this each month but October seriously flew by. It’s like I was typing up my September favorites just yesterday. Anyway.. I’ve been buying loads of products this month and picked out a few favorites.

MUA Undress Me Too Palette

This is probably the only item in this favorites post that I’ve had for longer than two months. I got this in August while I was in the UK and for some reason I’ve been using it A LOT this month. I wouldn’t say daily but pretty much almost. I’ve just been really loving the metallic shades this month.

Essence Lipliners in Cute Pink and In The Nude

Ever since I bought these a while ago I’ve been using them all the time. They are incredibly pigmented and cheap and the shades are lovely. I’ve written a full blog post on these in case you want to know more.

Maybelline Master Smokey Eye Pencil

I just got this very recently but been using it a ton ever since. I got mine in the shade Smoky Grey, which is a super dark grey almost black color. It’s perfect for a when you’re in a rush because it’s the easiest way to create a smokey eye!

NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brûlée

By now it’s no secret that I’m a massive fan of the NYX lip butters. I’ve recently added this shade, which is a barely nude better than your lips kind of shade. I’ve been loving it a lot ever since I got it.

Sephora Cream Lip Stain In Endless Purple

This is the most gorgeous dark purple shade. It doesn’t look as dark in the tube but it’s definitely darker. I love how long lasting this is and I’m head over heels for the color. The only downside is that it’s so long lasting it’s seriously a pain in the you know where to remove.

And this already rounds up my October favorites. I’ve almost mentioned all of these products on my blog before but I’ve just really been enjoying using them!

What are your October favorites?
