New Year New Me?: Starting a New Chapter

I have never been one to believe in New Year’s resolutions because honestly most of the time they end up in failure anyway. I think setting yourself goals (i.e improving your grades, getting a new job, saving up for a new computer, writing a book etc.)  you want to achieve within the months to come is great but resolutions have never been for me because I’m a firm believer in continuous change. It’s your life and if you want to change something about it or change something about yourself you can work on getting that change whenever you feel like you’re ready. You don’t need a new year to do so, at least  that’s what I think. But if you’re of one the people who do like to make resolution for the new year then you do you, honey. Each to their own!

Needless to say I have never really made a list of resolutions but I do want to set some personal goals for 2018. I feel like this year is going to be an exciting yet scary year for me because I know a lot is going to change. I recently finished my BA degree and I am now waiting on my diploma, so I can apply for real grown up adult jobs. It’s been a few months since I’ve handed in my BA thesis yet I still can’t believe I’m now officially a college graduate. Sometimes it feels like I only graduated high school just yesterday and now I’m already finished with my first degree. Now I have to really figure out want I want to do with my life, find a job and look for MA programs. It’s exciting because one chapter of my life has come to an end and a new one is starting but it’s also nerve-wrecking and scary at the same time because at this point my future is entirely unknown.

IMG_3887

My plan for the upcoming months is to find a job or internship in my field so I can gain some experience before hopefully starting an MA degree next fall. I really want to make 2018 all about focusing on pushing myself forward in terms of work and academics. In the past few months I’ve been working in retail to make some money while waiting for my diploma and looking into possible jobs/programs. I’ve been wanting to start working on applications for so long yet most of the time I couldn’t get myself to really get into it. I think my biggest problem is the fear of not being good enough since I don’t have a lot of work experience yet other than some student jobs in retail or smaller internships. So in 2018 I want to overcome my fears and try to gain as much experience and knowledge as I possibly can. Instead of being insecure about the inevitable change I’m facing I want to embrace it and make the most of it. Change can be very good and the fact that I’ve finished my BA degree also opens up lots of new opportunities for me and I can’t wait to see what 2018 has in store.

Whether you make resolutions or set yourself goals or you just wait and see what the new year brings I wish you all lots of success and hope you get to make the most out of 2018!

Happy New Year and lots of love,

Sophie

A Little Update & My Current Favorite Face Mask

Hey there!

I know I’ve been blogging a bit inconsistently lately but I’ve been insanely busy with exams and I’ve just been lacking the motivation to be honest. I love blogging. I really do! But lately I feel like I’ve just been writing beauty review after beauty review and as much as I love testing out new products and reviewing them here on my little blog, I’d love to switch things up a bit. When I first started blogging my main theme was still beauty but I feel like my blog used to be a lot more diverse. I used to write way more lifestyle posts or throw in a recipe or something fashion related every once in a while. Especially writing lifestyle posts was something I really enjoyed writing but since I’ve been so busy with writing papers and studying for exams I just haven’t really come up with anything I actually want to write about.

I still have a ton of beauty items I really want to review but I hope that I can go back to having  some more diverse content soon. Now since I’ve been stressing out about exams there’s one face mask that helped me relax a little while also improving my skin and it’s the Body Shop Warming Mineral Mask. My favorite thing about this mask is that it warms up when you apply it to your skin and it feels absolutely amazing and so calming.

IMG_2508

Since I have quite the sensitive skin many face masks sometimes sting a little bit when I first apply them. This one, however, didn’t do that at all but actually felt really good on my skin from the first second on. I’ve used it several times now and I can honestly say I’ve seen a difference in my skin. It looks a lot more clear, healthy and glowing, which I’m so happy about. My skin is usually pretty clear but lately it’s been acting up for some reason, which has been annoying me. Ever since I started using this mask my skin has cleared up a lot. The consistency is very nice as well. It’s pretty thick and creamy but not too thick, if you know what I mean.

I can definitely recommend this face mask as it feels so so nice on my skin and I’ve actually seen improvement in my skin very fast. What more could I want from a mask?

I hope that once my exams are over inspiration hits me and I will be happy with my content again.

NYX Powder Blush in Taupe – The Perfect Contour for Pale Skin?

IMG_2407

Contouring alone can be quite tricky already but if you’re more on the pale side (like me) using the wrong shade can easily turn your attempt of defining your cheekbones into an orangey, muddy nightmare. Now, the NYX powder blush in the shade taupe is incredibly hyped up because apparently it’s the perfect shade to contour with for everyone, who is pale. Since I’m pretty pale and have a constantly growing love for the brand NYX anyway I decided it was time to finally test out the blush myself and see if it’s really worth the hype.

IMG_2410

First off the packaging obviously isn’t the fanciest but NYX is a high street brand and as long as you get good quality for a reasonable price I don’t mind the packaging too much. It’s still quite handy for travelling as it’s not too chunky. And in the case of this blush the price is pretty much unbeatable.

IMG_2413

One big plus I absolutely love about this blush is that’s it’s not that pigmented. If you contour, it can sometimes be very easy to go over the top but then having to go back trying to blend everything out can take forever and be very annoying. That’s exactly why I prefer using a product that is not too pigmented because it’s always easier to build up the contour then applying to much at once and having to blend blend blend.

The one thing that makes this blush most suitable for pale skin is the color though. Taupe is, like the name already suggest, a greyish cool toned  matte taupe shade, which creates the perfect most natural looking shadow on your face. The fact that it does create such natural shadows really does make it a great option for contouring.

IMG_2416

I’ve been using this to contour for a few weeks now and I can honestly say it’s worth the hype. If you’re pale and are looking for an affordable yet good product to contour with this is the one you should go for. I find myself reaching for this all the time!

Have you tried this blush? What are your thoughts on it?

My Love For NYX Continues

NYX is a brand I’ve been mentioning on my blog more and more frequently as I’ve been trying out and loving more and more of their products. Obviously my best friend knows this as well, which is why she was so kind to get  me two more of their wonderful products for Christmas, one being a palette and one being a lip pencil.

IMG_2079

She gave them two me right before we took off for London or actually more like while we were on our way to London, so I’ve had some time to try them out while I was there.

First let’s talk about this pretty little palette. It’s the Love in Florence palette in the shade 05 Sunsets with Sophia (how very fitting). You get five lovely shades with this stunner and I think each shade is equally gorgeous and they all really compliment each other. It’s nice that you get some more nude and bronzed shades for a more neutral look but it also includes a sparkling black if you want to go for something a bit more dramatic! While in London I’ve been using this for a very neutral but still shimmery eye look and it’s lasted pretty well throughout the day.

IMG_2070IMG_2071IMG_2073

The other item she got me is this Jumbo Lip Pencil in the shade 708 Iced Mocha. I have to admit when I first unwrapped this I thought it was an eye pencil due to the color and because they look exactly the same except for the fact that they come in a white packaging. However, this is a lip pencil even though this isn’t a shade I would chose for my lips, to be honest. The texture is incredibly similar to their eye pencils, so basically you can use them for your lips but you can use them just as well for your eyes. I did try this on my lips and once blended it actually looks really cool but it’s definitely a shade I would prefer using in summer as it gives this bronzed glow once applied.

IMG_2075IMG_2078

Just like every other NYX product I’ve tried so far I love these and I have yet to find a product by them that I dislike.

What do you think of NYX as a brand? Any products you would recommend? Anything you’re not so keen on?

Thank for reading!

Happy New Year & a little Life Update

Hey lovelies,

let me begin this post by wishing you all a very happy new year! I know it’s already the 3rd of January and I really wanted to share a blog post earlier but you now.. life gets in the way sometimes! So, I just got back from London yesterday and then today I met up with some old high school friends just to catch up, which was really nice as I hadn’t seen them in a few months.

But now back to my London trip. It was my 4th time in London and it was pretty damn awesome. I think I just have a bit of a thing for London. It’s such an amazing place. Just like last year my best friend and I stayed there for around 5 days over New Years.

Since we both have been there several times now we skipped the typical tourist stuff and just did a lot of shopping, visited some museums, the zoo and took the subway (or tube as the English they) to explore some of the more exotic parts of London, that aren’t overly crowded by tourists.

Last year we spent NYE strolling through Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park before going to watch the fireworks down by the Thames. However, this year they closed up the area around London Eye and you had to get tickets in order to watch the fireworks. But since getting back to our hotel took us around 6 hours last year because they had closed down a lot of the big underground stations, so we got stuck for around 2 hours in front of Waterloo station, I really had no desire to go through that again. I was nearly in tears last time. So, this year we spend NYE in a bar and club in one right at Leicester Square and it was a lot less stressful and much more enjoyable.

We stayed in a hotel in the Wembley area, so to get back we just had to make our way to Piccadilly Circus and take the Bakerloo line to Wembley Central and after a 7min walk we reached our hotel. I swear, last year in comparison was an absolute nightmare. After getting stuck at Waterloo for hours we had to take own overcrowded subway after the other just to miss our train. With a ton of luck we finally managed to catch a bus out of central London at 5.30.

This time we left the club at around 1 am and were back in our hotel room at around 2,30. I wish we could’ve stayed out longer but it was my first night out partying since I got out of the hospital and since I still have to take strong medication, which makes me incredibly tired I just couldn’t go any longer. But we still had an amazing time!

Obviously I did a lot of shopping as well! I can’t even count the times I went into Boots to buy some more make up. I basically spent most of my money on make up but I have no regrets! Hopefully I manage to get a little haul post up soon. I mainly bought drugstore make up apart from some Tom Ford make up but more about that in my next post.

As much fun as I had I’m glad to be back home now as the last days have been absolutely exhausting. I’m still not allowed to practice any type of sport for a while but we basically spend all day walking around in London with hardly any breaks. Usually that wouldn’t have been a problem for me but since I haven’t been very active physically because I just wasn’t allowed to it was absolutely exhausting for me and I’m now glad to be able to sleep in my own bed again and get some rest! Plus I missed blogging and I’m excited to continuing working on my blog in 2015!

Once again I hope you guys had an amazing NYE and I hope you enjoyed reading this post despite it differing a bit from my usual posts because it’s more of a life update one.

Somehow I didn’t take a lot of pictures while in London (maybe because I already have so many) so I thought I’d just my 3 favorites with you guys!

Lots of love,

Sophie

Merry Christmas & One Year of Blogging

Hey there!

So today is just going to be a short little rambley kind of post. First of all it’s CHRISTMAS EVE! How very exciting! We’re going to have some lovely cake later, go to church at 5pm and then have a big Christmas dinner at 8. I can’t wait! But first of all I have to get all dolled up!

This year I was actually in charge of the dinner because I made the mistake of suggesting to make turkey, which can be quite a lot of work. On top of that I also decided to try out one of the fanciest cakes I’ve ever tried so far. I don’t know what got into me. It must have been the Christmas spirit. So please wish me luck that everything will go well food wise because what would Christmas be without some delicious and festive food? Kind ruined I guess. I can’t wait to share a post all about Christmas including my outfit, make up and the dinner I cooked  for my family with some help from my mom.

But now I just want to wish all of you a very very merry Christmas! Have a wonderful and blessed few days and may all your dreams and wishes come true!

Another thing that I almost forgot because I was so busy getting excited and preparing everything for Christmas – today is actually my 1 year blogiversary. I don’t know why I decided it was a good idea to start a blog on Christmas Eve but very late on December the 24th 2013, it might have been past midnight and the 25th already, I set up my WordPress account. I’d been wanting to start a blog for the longest time and when I got a new laptop and was all happy because it was Christmas I decided to finally go for it! Yay me! Honestly, I’m so glad though I did. When I started this blog I didn’t even know about the entire community that came with it. I had no idea about anything really.

I’m so glad I stuck with blogging and it’s quite cool to see how much my blog has changed from when I first started out. Now some bloggers have thousands of followers on Twitter and Instagram and bloglovin’ but I never started my blog with the intention of going anywhere big with it. All I wanted was to create my own little space on the Internet, where I could be entirely myself and just write about whatever my heart desires, so I’m more then content with having reached 450 followers here on WordPress. At first I didn’t even know there was such a thing as followers or subscribers, so I’m more than humbled to know that there are 450 people reading my blog. Every comment and every like just genuinely makes me so happy! Also I’ve met some incredibly amazing people through blogging, which turned out to be one of the best aspects about blogging for me!

My wish for the next year of blogging is to just continue to enjoy writing up posts and sharing some, hopefully interesting, content with you!

IMG_1442

So once again I hope you have a merry Christmas and thanks so much to everyone who’s supported my blog! I can’t wait for the next year of blogging!

Much love,

xx

The Christmas Tag

IMG_4825

The other day I was tagged to do the Christmas Tag by the lovely Emily (definitely make sure to check out her blog over here) and because I love Christmas and the weather is absolutely horrendous today and is preventing me from my plans to go out and get some Christmas shopping done, I thought why not do this tag today, so here we go!

What is your favorite Christmas movie? Great! The first one is already a tough one. Hmm… I think I have to narrow it down to two and they would have to be the Grinch and Nightmare Before Christmas.

Do you open you presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas Morning? For some reason we always open ours on Christmas Eve. Basically what we do on Christmas Eve is we have a festive dinner with the whole family, then we go to Church and when we come back it’s time to open our presents. That’s just the way we have always done it. I usually spent half of Christmas Morning in my PJ’s before I have to get ready because we usually go out somewhere fancy with the whole family that day.

Do you have a favorite Christmas memory? I don’t really think I do. When I was little Christmas was always this magical time of the year and I have lots of memories from back then but I could never pick a favorite. Maybe one Christmas that stands out to me in particular was the one I spent in Louisiana. That was definitely one of the best Christmases!

Favorite Festive Food? Not gonna lie, I’m probably the fussiest eater ever. There are so many things I don’t eat but one thing I love is turkey. This year I’ve talked my family into making turkey for Christmas and my parents said if I cook it they would order one. I jokingly said yes but now they have actually ordered one and I’m stuck with having to cook it now. I’m not sure how that’s going to work out and I hope my family won’t have to starve over Christmas because I messed up the turkey but we’ll see.

Favorite Christmas gift? That’s impossible to pick. I love every gift I receive. It’s the thought that counts anyway, right? ;)

Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions? Does going to church count?

What tops your tree? Something different every year, to be honest. It’s always fun to mix it up.

As a kid what was one of the crazy things you always asked for but never received? A tiger. Tigers were my favorite animals and still are one of my favorite animals today (though I’m terrified of cats. Not very logical, I know). I wanted a tiger so bad and one of my best friends got a little bunny, so I couldn’t understand why my parents wouldn’t buy me a baby tiger. I mean, look at them. They’re so cute and they can protect you from thieves and bad people. My parents weren’t convinced by my arguments but I eventually got a dog when I was older, so that’s cool too.

What’s the best thing about Christmas for you? Basically just being home and reunited with my family. I just love cooking together and watching movies together and getting all dressed up. Everything looks so festive and almost everyone seems to be in such high spirits. Usually most of my friends from high school are in town, so I can catch up with them as well. Christmas is just the best.

I love reading these type of posts and I love everything Christmas related, so I’m tagging everyone that wants to do this tag! Do it and let me know, so I can read it!

Have a lovely day!

Thanks for reading!

How Blogging Has Changed Me

IMG_1321

I can’t quite believe it myself but at the end of this month my little blog turns 1! How crazy is that? When I first set up an account here on WordPress it was just for fun and I didn’t think I was going to stick with it for an entire year and even less, find a hobby I enjoy doing this much. Now I might not have the biggest following, the fanciest writing style, the most stunning photos or the prettiest blog design but blogging is something I genuinely enjoy doing and I’m glad I created my own little space on the Internet as it has changed me, personally, in quite a few good ways.

Creativity

Blogging requires you to be fairly creative as you constantly have to come up with new ideas for blog posts, ways to improve your photography or maybe you’re good with design and you’re always working on making your blog design even pretties. I’ve written and published 247 posts on my blog so far and if I think about that now that’s quite a lot. Now some might be more interesting and creative than others but I honestly never thought I’d find so much to blog about when I typed up my first post. My blog pictures aren’t the most beautiful ones out there but they have improved massively from when I first started and though I’m not perfectly content with them I feel like I’m on the right track. In general I just feel like I’ve really become so much more creative through blogging and I’m really happy about that.

Organization/Time Management

I have to admit I still haven’t mastered time management and being organized entirely but it has improved greatly from just a year a go. I keep a little notebook with me at all times now in which I write ideas down for blog posts. I sometimes write up a schedule of when I want to post what and this has definitely helped me with uni work as well. I may not always write it down but I have a little plan in my head of what I really want to get done each day and quite surprisingly I manage to stick to that little plan most of the time.

Confidence

I’ve always admired those people, who would wear whatever they want to no matter what others might say. Though I’ve moved around quite a lot I spent the last few years of High School in a relatively small town with a bunch of very judgmental people. I’ve always believed that the way you do your makeup and the way you dress can (doesn’t necessarily have to but can) be a way of expressing yourself, yet I never felt confident to sport that bold red lip or those fancy heels. I would sit at home and try out the most unique make up looks but I was never brave enough to wear them outside of the house in fear of being judged by others. Nowadays I really couldn’t care less. If I spent a little fortune on a lipstick I might as well wear it proudly, right? I wore bright orange or pink lips a lot this summer when I was back home and though some people might have looked a me like ‘what the hell’ I didn’t give a damn anymore. I only live once and just because some people in a little town no one knows of anyway don’t like the color lipstick I’m wearing it’s not going to stop me from wearing it anyway. Judge all you want.

Doing Something

Before blogging I spent most of my free time browsing the Internet for hours or watching YouTube videos and my favorite shows whenever I wasn’t busy with school, later on Uni work, or hanging out with friends. Obviously I still watch my favorite shows and browse the Internet for make up and fashion stuff but I spend a good amount of time on my blog as well. I really try to take my time for writing my posts and taking my pictures as I feel like quality is always more important than quantity. I write lists of blog post ideas and I try out different make up looks I could blog about. Basically I now feel like I’m actually doing something useful with my free time and like I am accomplishing something because it makes me so happy whenever someone likes a post of mine or leaves a thoughtful comment.

These are just a a few ways in which blogging has changed me as a person and I fee like for those reasons alone starting a blog was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Has blogging changed you in any way and if yes how?

Thanks so much for reading!

The Fun Questions Tag

As you might be able to guess from the title I’m doing a tag post today. I always love reading these on other blogs and I haven’t done one in ages, so when my lovely blogging friend Kavi tagged me to do this I though’t it be a nice change from all of the reviews I’ve been posting lately. Let’s get started.

1) When is your birthday?

My birthday is on March 28th.

2) What are 3 of your favourite colours?
My favorite colors are blue and green. I don’t really have a third one but when it comes to clothes I definitely prefer darker clothes much to the dismay of my mom. She always says I need to add more color but nope. I kind of disagree.

3) What’s your favourite quote?

There are a lot of great quotes but one recent favorite of mine is ‘It’s not what you look at that matters. It’s what you see’ by Henry David Thoreau. I just think it’s a really powerful quote.

4) Are you addicted to YouTube?

I wouldn’t say addicted. I’m subscribed to a few channels and  I watch some YouTube videos when I’m bored but not on a regular basis.

5) What are 3 of your favourite shows on TV or YouTube or both?

My favorites change around a lot but I’m currently obsessed with American Horror Story. One show that I used to love is Gossip Girl. I think I’ve watched the fist 3 seasons around 4 times each, so I feel like I have to mention it. I also really like Scandal and I just started watching How To Get Away With Murder and I’m really liking that show so far.

6) What are 3 qualities you look for in a best friend?

Someone who’s loyal and doesn’t talk trash behind your back. Someone you can have fun with and talk to for hours but at the same time don’t have that awkward silence with when you’re not saying anything. I guess someone who’s just a genuinely nice and interesting person.

7) Do you like your name?
I’m okay with it.

8) If you have the choice to pick your own name, what will it be?

When I was 14 I always wished my name was Olivia. I don’t really know why but apart from that I’ve never really thought about what I’d liked to be named if I had the choice.

9) What is your fantasy dream?

I don’t know. This is such a vague question to me.

10) Do you wear make-up?

Do I really need to answer this? I think it’s quite obvious I do. I’m a beauty blogger, so yes I definitely do!

11) If you could write a book, what would the title be and what would it be about?

I have no idea. I like reading horror stories or thrillers, so maybe I’d write my own?

12) What makes you cry?

I’m not a person to cry over books or movies. I used to never really cry a look. Maybe just sometimes when I get really angry or frustrated.

13) What makes you happy?

My family, my best friend and my dog. And I know this sounds incredibly superficial but make up as well. I love unpacking those shiny new products and using them for the first time. But I’m probably the happiest when I’m about to travel somewhere with either my family or my best friend because I just love traveling and I have the best time planning a trip. Plus it combines two of my favorite things: travelling and spending time with the people I care most about. It’s mostly the little things though that make me genuinely happy. :)

14) What is “Fangirling?”

Obsessing over a person or band. It involves a lot of screaming and tears, I think?!

15) What are your 3 favourite snacks?

Salty crackers, carrots and popcorn.

17) What are your 3 favourite foods?

Pasta, broccoli and ice cream.

18) What are your 3 favourite drinks?

I pretty much just drink water 24/7. But when I don’t drink water I really enjoy drinking frozen coffee, hot chocolate and I used to be addicted to drinking diet coke but I’ve stopped drinking it and now I rarely ever drink it but I still love it.

19) Can you tell us a little about yourself?

What do you want to know? :D Well, I’m secretly really proud of my natural blonde hair. I love traveling. American Country Music is my guilty pleasure. I really want a huge pick up truck one day. I love art but I suck at drawing (like really really bad). I’m the pickiest eater ever. I basically live off of plain water and cereal. I love superheroes (Batman and Captain America are my faves) and I’m obsessed with most of the marvel movies. People are always surprised to hear that but I hate soppy and romantic chick flicks and I’d much rather watch horror movies. I’m scared of cats but when I was 9 years old I wanted a baby tiger for my birthday and was utterly disappointed when I didn’t get one. I still like tigers and I’m still scared of cats. Kind of ironic, huh? So is that enough for now?

20) Who is your favourite person in the world?

I can’t just pick one.

And that was the last question. I really hope you guys enjoyed reading this and you learned a little bit more about me. I love reading these, so I’m tagging everyone who reads this to do it! If you do decided to do this let me know, so I can read it.

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Finding The One (Product)

Hey lovelies!

Today is going to be a bit of a different post but still beauty related. I think for most girls or at least those who are interested in/wear make up it is almost like a life goal to find that one perfect product in, let’s say each beauty category. Now I mean we all want to find that one perfect foundation that will make our face look absolutely flawless or that one amazing mascara that will gives us voluminous long lashes that reach up to the sky. You get the idea, right?

Obviously I can’t speak for everyone but I think there are quite a lot of girls that are probably the same way. Always on the hunt for that one perfect product! The list of mascaras and foundations I’ve tried is quite long. Some have gotten pretty close and others have been an absolute fail. But that’s okay. It’s good to eliminate products as well and trying out different things definitely teaches you a lot. When I first got into make up there weren’t loads of different YouTubers and bloggers to learn from. Or at least it wasn’t that known and when I was 14 (5 long years ago) I hardly spent much time on the Internet to be honest. So when I first started playing around with make up I never even imagined to go on Google and read a review. Yep, that’s how things have changed over time. What I mean is that I had to go through all these products and couldn’t just pass one by because I read a bad reviews about it. I bought most of them based on whether the packaging was pretty or not.

In those 5 years that I’ve been into make up I’ve tried quite the amount of products and some I absolutely loved yet I don’t know if it’s just me but I always have the hope of finding something even better. Especially nowadays because my make up options have grown so much. When I was 14/15 I never would have thought I’d ever spend 50€ on an eyeshadow palette  or 45€ on a blush. I would only buy drugstore brands like Maybelline or Essence and I didn’t even really know about the whole world of high end make up.

But one day my mom took me into a MAC store because I was even paler when I was younger and I could hardly ever find a powder in the drugstore that didn’t make me look all weird and orangy. When I walked into that Mac store for the first time and saw all those pretty shiny products I thought I was in absolute make up heaven. The lady recommended me their Mineralize Skinfinish powder in the lightest shade and I loved it. It hardly felt like I was wearing any make up and yet it made my skin look so perfect. I remember her only putting on moisturiser and a bit of the powder ( I was only 15 so didn’t need all that much).

I’ve used that Mac powder for the longest time. Probably for 4 years but the price kept going up over time and when I became a student and moved and suddenly had the responsibility for everything myself and had to buy my own food and stuff I tried looking for alternatives. I’ve tried out so many different setting powders in the last couple of months and some I even really liked but still I couldn’t find the one that gave me that natural flawless finish my old powder gave me. About a week ago I made myself face the fact that my Mac powder was just the best one for me personally.

As you may have guessed it I went back to Mac and I know this powder isn’t for everyone. We all have different skin so what works for one person might not work for someone else but this powder just really works for me. It’s that one product I know that won’t fail me so whenever I need or want to look my best I can use it because it will do what I expect it to.

My mom made fun of me for getting so excited when it arrived because for her it’s just another powder but I couldn’t wait because it’s that one products that makes my skin look best and makes me feel best about my skin. I guess it’s my holy grail powder.

So do you have any product that just always makes you feel better about yourself? That one product you just keep going back to and you just can’t seem to find anything better?
