One thing I love about being home is that my mom always makes sure we have a bowl full of yummy and healthy fruits in the kitchen. I’m a big lover of fruits but whenever I’m at University I don’t buy too much of it because fresh fruits are freaking expensive and I don’t want to spend crazy amounts of money on fruits that eventually go bad because I won’t have time to eat it all.
So today I woke up and I was thinking ‘ I haven’t had a smoothie for breakfast in ages’, so I decided to go make one. Though I love most breakfast foods I’m not really a big breakfast person because usually I’m on a rush in the morning and when I have to get up really early I’m not even hungry, so smoothies are a good solution for me at times.
This one is one of my favourites because it contains some of my favorite fruits and a little bit of cereal.
This is what you need:
200ml/ 6.7 oz of milk
a hand full of mixed frozen berries ( I used raspberries and blackberries)
a handful of your favorite cereal
3 tablespoons of plain yoghurt
I know these measurements aren’t all that great but I don’t have a real recipe. I just sort of throw in a bit of everything and blend it all up.
Add it all together and then blend until done. You don’t have to use frozen berries but if you do it’s really cold and refreshing.
It’s so easy and so yummy!
